2008 UFP CONFERENCE TO BE BIGGER AND BETTER
"Celebrating 20 Years Of The UFP".
2008 brings us to the 20th anniversary of the UFP. ADM. Pete Lutz came up with the conception of a Star Trek fan club where all of Gene Roddenberry’s Star Trek visions could be explored in December of 1988. Up to that time, all Star Trek fan clubs utilized the Star Fleet vision only. The UFP included the alien fleets, the civilian aspects (Harry Mud) and the United Federation of Planets government. For its time, it was a radical idea and one well over due. We will be honoring Pete Lutz and many of the early members who shared his vision.
The 2008 UFP Conference will be held at SoonerCon in Oklahoma City again. Steve Elliot will be joining us from Florida. We are working on getting Larry Nemecek to share our room again to do his programming which is always quite an honor. Pete Lutz is planning on attending the 2008 UFP Conference coming in from Kentucky. Sean Beoren is planning to join us where he will have a Starfleet Command Engineering room and a room for his UFP chapter the USS Beowulf. We are very excited about this. So I hope all of our members can attend this great time of celebration, fun, education and relaxation. The dates for the 2008 UFP Conference are June 6, 7 and 8th. 2007 UFP CONFERENCE A SUCCESS
The 2007 UFP Conference held at SoonerCon in Oklahoma City was a huge success. Steve Elliot, joined us all the way from Florida. Larry and Janet shared our room to do their programming which was quite an honor. We had a great time and we are planning the 2008 UFP Conference at SoonerCon again. RICKY ROUSEY
On Saturday, May 31, 2003, RICKY ROUSEY, son of DAVE ROUSEY( Imperial Klingon Empire, United Federated Planets) drowned at El Reno Lake. Ricky was under the water for 10 minutes. However, Ricky was removed from the murky water of the lake and revived by El Reno Fire Department. Since Dave and his sons are a part of the UFP family we have a web page that was designed by Jason Robinson & Dave Rousey to keep us updated on RICKY'S condition:

The UFP moves into the 12th country of New Zealand with a new Starfleet Command Engineering member, Cameron Pearson. We welcome Cameron into the UFP as the official New Zealand member.

STAR WARS, RED DWARF, SPACE RANGERS, FOREVER KNIGHT, NIGHT STALKER, THE OUTER LIMITS, ALIEN NATION, TEKWAR, SHERLOCK HOLMES, THE PLANET OF THE APES, DOCTOR WHO, SEA QUEST, THE HIGHLANDER, DARK SHADOWS, XENA, HERCULES, LOST IN SPACE, JAPANESE ANIMATION, TRIPODS, MILLENNIUM, SPACE: ABOVE AND BEYOND, MEN IN BLACK , 3RD ROCK FROM THE SUN, POLTERGEIST: THE LEGACY, THE TITANIC AND ANYTHING ELSE YOU WOULD LIKE TO BRING INTO THE UFP.
The Sector Head is responsible for taking any fan interest and developing it into a viable active fan club within the United Federated planets Fan Club. They are responsible for planning, organizing, staffing, directing, coordinating, reporting and budgeting the entire developmental project and insure that it conforms to the areas of that fan interest guidelines. An evaluation of the current sectors will be much more explanatory to what is expected of the UFP Sector Head. The UFP Sector Head coordinates the development of their sector and submits regular progress reports to the UFP Corporate Director of Operations.

PRAYERS REQUESTED
UPDATE: The prayers are working! Much improvement is being had by all whom you are praying for. Please keep these members in your prayers because they still need the power of prayer for their continued healing.
I have had a request from Patty Stafford for prayer for Mitzi Phillips. It seems that her health is still in decline and the surgery she had last year where the pacemaker was inserted has not been of the benefit that the doctors had hoped for and it has actually resulted in more harm than good. So please remember Mitzi in your prayers.
I would also ask for prayers for Hugh Brower and Cathie Christy. Although Hugh's health has improved, it is not improving as quickly as expected. Cathie has undergone more surgery for cancer and is not doing as well as expected. So please remember them in your prayers.
If your church has a prayer list, I would ask that their names be added to the prayer list. There is no more perfect medicine than that of prayer to the Great Physician and Healer.
