CORPORATE JOB OPPORTUNITIES

In an organization as big as the United Federated Planets, Incorporated there are many jobs that must be performed on a daily basis to insure the success of the United Federated Planets Fan Club.  These jobs bring the corporate employees into contact with members of the fan club, city government agencies, county government agencies, state government agencies, federal government agencies, local business people and charitable organizations representatives.

The jobs that need to be done involve tasks that need to be attended to on a daily basis and require the corporate employee to be able to devote at least two (2) hours a day to their performance and on some assignments even more time.

The corporate job opportunities are non-paid voluntary positions but due to the nature of their importance the corporate employee must function just as if they were receiving a weekly pay check because while there is no pay involved there are certain corporate employee benefits which result in some money back at the end of the year on personal income taxes due to "business expenses" incurred while performing the duties of the job.  These will be discussed in more detail in the "Employee Benefits Section" below.  However, it is important that the applicant understand at this time that the corporation will expect a certain amount of dedication, professionalism and desire in performing the tasks of the job they select.

Regular progress reports are expected of all corporate employees.  These reports are sent via e-mail or snail mail to the Corporate Vice President of Operations by the 15th of each month for the previous months business.   A more desirable reporting schedule may be worked out between the corporate employee and the Vice President of operations at their discretion.

There will be specific corporate training sessions that will usually be done as correspondence courses that the corporate employee will be expected to take and pass the enclosed "open book" exam.  There will be scheduled Annual Business Meetings which will require the corporate employee to attend unless an emergency arises to prevent said attendance.  These Annual Business Meetings expenses will be covered by the "Employee Benefits".

The "Employee Benefits" include the following to be deducted from your annual income taxes as business expenses which apply to attending the conventions corporate business meetings as business trips: 100% of the cost of the tickets, 100% of the travel expenses going to and from the convention/business meeting, 100% of the hotel/motel bill and 10% of food consumed while attending the convention/business meeting.  You will need to consult with your C.P.A. or person who does your taxes to confirm this information for the state you reside in, it applies to Oklahoma residents.

The corporate job opportunities include positions on the corporate Board of Directors which requires a vote of the current Board of Directors Members to accept the new Board member based on the applicant's application, positions as Fan Club Sector Heads, positions as United Federated Planets Membership Activities Coordinators and positions as specific corporate projects and programs coordinators and directors.  Each corporate employee is allowed to have an Administrative Assistant who must also apply to the corporation for the position but will be guaranteed employment to assist their corporate employee.  Both may apply at the same time, if they so desire.  Most of these are teams of married couples so that both can utilize the "Employees Benefits".
