This test will introduce you to the way that the United Federated Planets, Starfleet Command operates. It will insure that you read the manuals needed for you to become knowledgeable in UFP and it's Starfleet Command daily operations. All Starfleet Officers who wish to become a Command Officer in the UFP Starfleet are required to take and pass this test. All officers of the UFP Starfleet Command who have received a field promotion must take and pass this test to retain the rank they currently hold. Please place your name, rank and UFP serial number in the top right hand corner Of this exam sheet.

If you are taking it on-line I suggest that you print off the exam so you have a copy to work from since all materials are on the web site, mark the answers on the printed copy and the go back to the on-line exam, copy it and paste it on your e-mail screen, put in the answers beside the A= and then send it in that way to mikeferg1@yahoo.com with the header of Line Officer Exam. The Commanding Officer of a vessel or facility is authorized to assign certain punishments for minor offenses. These punishments include:

1. Loss of promotion points up to 15.

2. Extra duties at a certain special activity or party.

3. Reduction to the next inferior rank or grade.
