THE UFP SECURITY COUNCIL

Providing for the common defense of every member planet in the UFP is the task of the UFP Security Council.

The Security Council is an advisory body made up of 20 civilian and military specialists who report to both the UFP Council and Assembly. Members are appointed by the Minister of Civilian Affairs.

The Federated Security Agency (FSA) is the intelligence gathering agency that collects and correlates political, military and social information on foreign governments for the Security Council and is called upon at times to utilize counter-intelligence capabilities.
